Slow Progess

Slow Progess

Its coming together, albeit, slowly. I haven’t updated the blog the past few days as I felt not much progress had be made. I’ve basically been completing hundreds of smaller jobs. This includes starting the finishing/decoration wood around the window & door frames, installing electric door locks, drilling holes and mapping out the electrical, running 12v electrical wiring and installing another subfloor made of plywood to ensure it’s going to last.

The only major achievement over the past few days has been the second floor. It has now been covered in plyboard and braced. It’s easy to walk around upstairs now. The down stairs walls have been built and installed. This now segregates the bathroom area, office area and the kitchen and helps support the mezzanine floor.

I’ve also prepared and cut the support wood for the stairs so Ill get on to that tomorrow.

Another major achievement over the past few days was the exterior cladding. Its nearly finished. I need to install the guttering to finish the main wall, the front wall and possibly the rear are on the list for the next two days. Then its just some flashings and it will be completely water tight.

Anyway. Ill leave you with some photos Including one of my poor car. I don’t think the roof racks will ever be the same.
